This agreement is valid within Hong Kong and China only.
I/The Customer hereby authorizes Union Business Machines Co. Ltd. (hereinafter called the Company) to carry out all repairs, adjustments, and modifications to the equipment listed on this Agreement ( the subject equipment ) on the following terms and conditions:
1.The Customer will allow the Company's representatives access to the equipment for service, inspection, and maintenance at any time during normal business hours of the Company.
2.The Comapny will provide repair services required by the Customer when the equipment is out of order
3.On the following conditions, the Company will provide repairs to the subject equipment without additonal charges during normal business hours, provided that: -
1.labours and materials are available; and
2.no alteration and repair have been made to the equipment except by the Company's authorized representatives.
It is understood that any expenses incurred by the major repair / overhaul, which has to be done in our workshop caused by serious damage will be borne by the Customer
4.The Company will replace defective parts of the equipment whenever it is necessary.
5.The Company reserves the right to adjust the prices of any spareparts related in this agreement (appies to "Service Only" agreements) and to adjust any ancillary charges in force whenever necessary without giving any further advance notice.
6.The Company will not be responsibe for any damage caused by WATER, FIRE, ACCIDENT, ABUSE, or DAMAGE resulted by any unstable electricity supply connected to the machine.
7.The Customer whose equipment is located in distant locations such as Cheung Chau, Lantua island ... etc, will transport the equipment to the Company's Service Centre to receive repair service. (valid in Hong Kong only)
8.The Customer whose equipment is located in China will transport the equipment to the Comapany's authorized service centre to receive repair service. If site visit is required in the Company will charge the customer a travelling expenses for each visit (valid in China only)
9.This agreement will continue in effect until cancelled by written notice by either party 30 days in advance prior to the expiration date of this Agreement.
10.The agreement may be cancelled by Union Business Machines Co. Ltd if the subject equipment has been repaired or interfered with by any person other than Union Business Machines Co. Ltd. authorized representatives.
11.Under no circumstance will payments for renewal the refunded.
12.Maintenance service will be provided on site at the location printed overleaf. The Customer shall inform the Comapny of any removal of installation address of the equipment, and that the Comapny reserves the rights to terminate the Agreement without refund and/or to request additional charge upon any such removal.
